Mark was raised in the Clear Lake area of Northern California and attended Clear Lake High School in Lakeport, where he spent time playing sports, water skiing, fishing, and working in the local orchards.

He earned his Eagle Scout rank through the Boy Scouts, an experience that helped shape his discipline, leadership, and commitment to serving others.

After high school, he continued his education at DeVry Institute in Phoenix, Arizona State in Tempe, and USF in San Francisco, focusing on Risk Management and Business classes that laid the groundwork for his career in insurance. Today, Mark and his team work with individuals and families looking for Auto, Homeowners, Life, Health, and Business Insurance, helping them prepare for everyday risks as well as the unexpected.

Coaching soccer for more than 30 years and serving as an advanced national coach trainer has been one of the most rewarding parts of his life. He is currently Vice President of the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce and has served as one of the directors of the Saratoga Car Show for over 15 years, staying closely connected to the communities around us.

Mark is married to Sabrina Jansen, and together they have four sons. Sabrina and Mark love spending time with their four sons and three grandchildren (soon to be five). They enjoy traveling and going to concerts whenever they can. Mark is licensed to serve customers in California, Oregon, and Arizona, and takes pride in building long‐term relationships based on knowledge and reliability.
